How to move

The best way to explore Sardinia is definitely by car. Having your own vehicle gives you the freedom to move at your own pace, discover small villages, reach unspoiled beaches, natural parks, and visit the island’s many archaeological sites — from ancient nuraghe towers to mysterious Giants’ Tombs and sacred wells.

If you don’t have a car, don’t worry — Anyway, Sardinia is connected by public transport. Buses and trains link the main towns and airports: Alghero, Olbia, and (a bit farther away) Cagliari. From these hubs, you can reach Banari with a combination of bus or train routes.

And if travel connections don’t match your schedule, just let us know. We can help arrange a pickup from the nearest airport or find a convenient transfer option for you.

The public transport options serving Banari include the ARST regional bus network and the Meilogu shuttle, which provides connections to all the surrounding towns and, from July to August, via the “Linea Mare”, to the beaches of Alghero.
